turbo coat Turbine Coat:
Turbine Coat™ is a protective compressor coating that was designed to extend the wear life of components for ground based gas turbine engines. Reducing oxidation, erosion, corrosion, and metal fatigue, this specialized formulation increases efficiency of airflow, chamber compressibility, and reduces friction of the compressed air stream.

This cutting edge technology is continually tested under extreme conditions, both in the laboratory and in the field, with excellent results. Turbine Coat™ has proven to be a cost effective coating with high-end performance.

microslick Microslick:
Micro Slick™ is a solid film lubricant designed to withstand high temperature and extreme pressure. This thin coating lubricates and acts as an anti-seize agent while preventing galvanic corrosion, and resists wear.

The Micro Slick™ formulation prevents surface-to-surface contact, thus reducing friction and wear between mating surfaces. The exceptionally low resistance of Micro Slick™ enables surfaces to operate with extremely low friction.

The most common application of this coating is on piston skirts and rod / main bearings but can be used on any metal to metal mating surfaces. During cold engine starts, engine break-ins or when your oil supply to your engine is less than satisfactory, Micro Slick™ will help prevent pre-mature wear and failure of your engine components.

piston coat Piston Coat:
Piston Coat™ is formulated to provide thermal barrier protection for piston domes, the corresponding combustion chambers, and valve faces. This specialized formulation withstands detonation impact while reducing surface temperatures and increasing combustion chamber efficiency.

By reducing the surface temerature and hot spots on the piston dome, this will reduce detonation, pre-ignition and allow the use of lower octane fuel. Less heat is conducted through the wrist pins and rods keeping the crank, bearings, oil and entire bottom end cooler.

This coating is a must for hi-performance, nitrous, supercharged and turbocharged applications.

insulkote Insulkote:
Insulkote™ coating is a great addition to your chrome or stainless motorcycle pipes. This coating is not for aesthetical purposes but to add a superior thermal barrier protection for internal use on exhaust systems or anywhere that you want to reduce heat transfer. It can also be used as a shielding base coat under certain high temperature ceramic applications.

Insulkote™ was formulated to reduce heat transfer, offer long term protection against metal fatigue, corrosion and deterioration. Insulkote™ also increases performance and horsepower by increasing heat scavenging during the exhaust cycle. When applied to the inner diameter of chrome motorcycle pipes, the bluing and discoloration commonly seen will be a thing of the past. Not only will this coating keep your pipes looking great, it will reduce the radiant heat up to 90%.

Due to the wetting ability and smooth finish of the coating, Insulkote™ increases exhaust gas velocity while being able to withstand temperatures in excess of 1800ºF.

chromex Chromex:
Chromex™ provides a polished chrome-like finish that resists corrosion and remains thermally stable with temperatures exceeding 1200ºF.  Chromex™ has excellent adhesion and is abrasion resistant. When polished correctly, Chromex™ has gloss in excess of 600 gloss units.

black velvet Black Velvet:
Cerakote™ High Temperature Coatings are designed to improve performance of exhaust systems. These coatings prevent corrosion, increase durability and provide thermal insulation. Our exhaust coatings are available in a variety of colors and finishes ranging from semi-gloss Black Velvet™ to gloss Stoplight Red, with Satin Metallic finishes also available. All of our coatings will withstand temperatures up to 1200ºF with select formulation capable of temperatures in excess of 1600ºF.

black velvet Transfer Black:
Transfer Black™ is formulated to provide an increased thermal transfer from a surface to a free flowing air environment. When applied to metal substrates, this coating is proven to increase thermal transfer of up to 35-40% versus uncoated metal substrates. This increased thermal transfer results in components operating at lower temperatures, thus creating gains in efficiency, and extending part life.

This coating comes in a matte black only and can be used on any metal substrate that you want to to have cool down and dissipate heat faster. The most common application for this coating is on motorcycle cylinders and engine blocks as well as Porsche / VW heads and engine blocks.
